Investment Banking Blog
Blogs are all the rage these days. You can find blogs on every imaginable subject including investment banking. You may be wondering why you should read an investment banking blog. If you are interested in this career field there are quite a few reasons. A blog is a bit different from a website in that it is updated frequently and features posts entered by the blog owner. Posts are more casual and can be in many different formats. For example many blogs are journal style or very conversational in nature while others are more formal.
One thing you will learn from this type of blog is how the blog owner feels about his or her job if they are in fact an investment banker. There are personal blogs by investment bankers where they do share aspects of their everyday lives which of course includes their job. You will get to learn about some of the things that occur from day to day in this career field. You may also learn more about investment banking in general as some blogs feature informative articles that educate readers on a certain subject.
There are some blogs that will teach you how to get a job in investment banking. They will show you how to prepare your resume and how to score at interviews. Recruiters are looking for only the best applicants. You can become better by learning as much as you can about this field and a blog can help you do that. Maybe you already are an investment banker and want to share with the world. If so, you can start your own blog for free or you can get a paid blog. Blogging is simple which is why so many people are doing it. You don't need a lot of technical computer experience.
Your investment banking blog can be about anything you want it to be, other than confidential information. You can keep it light and treat it like a journal, or write how-to articles for up and coming bankers. You can even earn money from your blog by placing advertising on it. Blogs serve a variety of helpful purposes. They enlighten, entertain, educate and more. They can be beneficial for both the reader and the writer.
